In accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 66.98 – Noxious weeds must be cut or sprayed and destroyed.
All weeds can be hauled to the Village of Pewaukee’s yard waste disposal site located at 552 Hickory St. A yard tag is required for entry to the yard waste disposal site.
The Village Board defines that lawns, grasses, and noxious weeds which exceed twelve (12) inches in height adversely affect the public health and safety of the public. For that reason, any lawn, grass or weed that exceeds twelve (12) inches in length is hereby declared to be a public nuisance per the Village's municipal code Sec. 14.180 in the maintenance of premise and open spaces.
