The Village contracts with the City of Pewaukee for building permits and inspections.
Applications for permits are required. You will need to obtain a permit for new and remodeling projects on your property.
Projects that require a permit include:
- remodeling and new construction
- roofing
- driveway installations
- erosion control
- plumbing
- heating and cooling
- electrical
- property grading
For mechanicals (plumbing, electric, and HVAC) send check with application, for all other permits you will be contacted when your permit has been issued. You may then come to the Inspections Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall, to obtain your permit and pay the permit fee. No work may commence without having first obtained the permit.
