Welcome to the Village of Pewaukee, an eventful lake community with upscale and convenient shopping centers.  

The Village Hall is open 8:00 a.m. thru 4:30 a.m. Monday - Friday Please call 262-691-5660 with any questions.  

The Village Board consists of seven at large Trustees.  The Village Board meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We have various other meetings conducted such as Plan Commission, Public Works and Safety, and Police Commission to name a few. 

We invite you to come and attend a meeting; we value the input from our residents greatly.

The Police Department is also located in the same building; their hours are 7:00 a.m. thru 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.  The Police Department issues parking permits and provides services to the community and protection at various events located in the Village.

The Village has a recycling center located at 552 Hickory Street.  The recycling center is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays but is shut down during the winter months.  All recycling, brush, and leaves can be taken to the recycling center after obtaining a yard waste tag from the Village Hall.  

The Village contracts with the City of Pewaukee some departments such as Parks and Recreation, Building Inspection, Building Permits, and the Fire Department.  All permits would need to be dropped off at the building inspection department at City Hall, W240 N3065 Pewaukee Rd, Pewaukee, WI  53072.  If you would like to contact the City regarding one of the shared departments please call 262-691-0770.  

There are quite a few events and many places to shop in Pewaukee; Positively Pewaukee is a local group that lists many events on their website www.positivelypewaukee.com as well as the Pewaukee Kiwanis which is another group with great information on what Pewaukee has to offer, their website is www.pewaukeekiwanis.org. 

The Pewaukee Public Library is located at 210 Main Street.  Please visit the Library’s website at www.pewaukeelibrary.org for more information about the resources and classes available.

If you are a new resident please be sure to call or email the Village Hall at 262-691-5660 to update the billing information on your property record; the utility bill will not be changed until we are notified.  Utility Bills are mailed every 3 months in January, April, July, and October. 

After you have been a Village resident over 28 days you can fill out a Voter Registration form to update your voting record with your new address or go to MyVote and register and/or apply for an absentee ballot.  

Garbage collection is every Friday and Recycling pick up is every other Friday.  

Burning permits and yard debris permits can be picked up at the Village Hall by the property owner.  Please bring proof of your address.  Burning permits are no charge and yard waste tags require a fee.

The Village offers many services such as Christmas tree pick up, brush pick up, leaf collection.
