Village of Pewaukee Police Commission Meeting Minutes
May 27, 2020


I. Call to Order/Roll Call

President Spakowicz called the meeting of the Village of Pewaukee Police Commission to order at 6:04 p.m. on May 27, 2020 in the Village Hall Board Room. Secretary McNeill conducted a roll call. The following persons were present: President David Spak:owicz, Commissioners William Gehrking, Thomas Houck, Peter Rohde and Secretary Mary McNeil!. Also present were Chief Timothy Heier, Lt. Garry and Sgt. Twelmeyer. There were no citizen comments or correspondence from the public presented to the commission.

II. Approval of Minutes of Previous Meetings

Commissioner Houck made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gehrking, to accept the minutes as presented from May 20, 2019, November 14, 2019, December 9, 2019 and December 18, 2019. The motion passed unanimously.

III. Old Business - None

IV. New Business

Election of Police Commission President
Commissioner Houck nominated Commissioner Spakowicz for President of the Commission. Commissioner Peter Rohde seconded the nomination. There were no other nominations.
Commissioner Spakowicz abstained from voting. Commissioner Spakowicz was unanimously elected as President of the Commission.
Election of Commission Secretary
Commissioner Houck nominated Commissioner Mary McNeill for Secretary of the Commission. Commissioner Peter Rohde seconded the nomination. There were no other nominations. Commissioner McNeill abstained from voting. Commissioner McNeill was unanimously elected as secretary of the Commission.
Review of 2019 Police Department Annual Report
Discussion ensued and it was determined that the due date for all future annual reports, starting with the 2020 annual report, would be due the beginning of February of the following year. Chief Heier then reviewed the Police Department's 2020 Annual Report with the Commissioners present.

V. Set Date for Next Meeting and Adjournment

No date was set for the next meeting. Commissioner Gehrking made a motion to adjourn, which was seconded by Commissioner Houck. The motion was passed unanimously.
President Spakowicz adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m.
