Village of Pewaukee Water is Still Safe
The Village of Pewaukee water is still safe for drinking as we have not exceeded any guidelines for drinking water standards.
Many residents have contacted the Village regarding the news article/story seen on Fox 6 news. Although it is true that one of the Village of Pewaukee's wells tested positive for PFAS, that well was promptly taken offline awaiting test results. The well remains offline due to positive results and will remain offline until long term treatment solutions can be reached. Treatment can be very costly due to PFAS resistance.
