Oakton Avenue Railroad Crossing/Sealed Corridor Project Update
The Village received correspondence from the Office of the Commissioner of Railroads (OCR) requiring the prohibition of left turns from eastbound Oakton Avenue onto Capitol Drive and from westbound Oakton Avenue onto Clark Street. As a result of this decision by the OCR, the Village will be posting “No Left Turn” signs on Monday, March 14th to comply with the order of the OCR.
The Village has not been advised by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation or CP Rail as to when the balance of the sealed corridor project work will be completed.
