Aquatic Weed Commission

The Aquatic Weed Commission is advisory to the Village Board consisting of two members of the Village Board designated by the Village President and three citizen members. At least one active member of the Commission shall reside on Park Ave and at least one shall reside on Kopmeier Dr.

The responsibilities of the Aquatic Weed Commission are to review and make possible recommendations to the Village Board for the following:

• Methods of control of the growth of aquatic weeds
• Citizen complaints regarding control of aquatic weeds
• Review of equipment methods such as, but not limited to, use, location, storage, and purchase
• Liaison between the Village of Pewaukee and the Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District 
• Annual report of activities to the Village Board

When: Twice annually, with one such meeting prior to May 1 and the second no later than October 31.

Where: Pewaukee Village Hall - 235 Hickory St
