Village Recycling and Yard Waste Center
The Village of Pewaukee Yard Waste Disposal and Recycling Center is located at 552 Hickory St. The center is open Wednesdays between May and September and Saturdays early April through mid-December for your convenience. Please check the home-page calendar, latest news, and/or orange announcement boxes for exact dates.
The utilization of the yard waste disposal site requires a yard tag to be purchased from the Village Hall each new year. The fee is $35.00 per year (Jan 1 thru Dec 31). Please have a proof of residence (Driver's License, utility bill, etc.) available at the time of purchase. **Due to a change in vendor, yard waste tags can no longer be purchased online. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Holidays may alter the recycling center schedule. Please call the office for an update.
To dispose of hazardous waste, electronics, computer equipment, televisions, cell phones, etc., please visit the Waukesha County website for more information. You may be required to pay to dispose of these items
Important Information
- Yard waste disposal is only allowed for residents of the Village of Pewaukee
- A $35 display tag is required for any resident who wishes to drop off their yard waste or brush
- The display tag is valid for the current year only and may be purchased at the Village Hall for cash or check only
- Tags must be purchased prior to disposing of yard waste
- If you lose your tag, you will be required to purchase another one
- Waukesha County holds events throughout the year to dispose of household hazardous waste.
