Sec. 54.101. Penalties.
Except as otherwise provided, any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be subject to penalties as follows:
(1) Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter
(2) In addition to any penalty imposed for violation of section by subsection (1) of this section, 54.105 any person who shall cause physical damage to or destroy any public property shall be liable for the costs of replacing or repairing such damaged or destroyed property. The parents of any unemancipated minor child who violates section 54-105 may also be held liable for the cost of replacing or repairing such damaged or destroyed property in accordance with Wis. Stats. § 895.035.
Sec. 54.102. Discharging and carrying firearms and guns prohibited.
No person, except a sheriff, constable, police officer or their deputies, shall fire or discharge any firearm, rifle, spring or air gun within the Village of Pewaukee or have any firearm, rifle, spring or gun in his possession or under his control unless it is unloaded and knocked down or enclosed within a carrying case or other suitable container; provided the chief of police may grant a permit for such use for any lawful purpose such as pest extermination to any adult resident of the village for not more than 30 days. No person shall in the territory adjacent to the village discharge any firearm in such manner that the discharge shall enter or fall within the village.
Sec. 54.103. Throwing or shooting of arrows, stones and other missiles prohibited.
No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball or other missile or projectile, by hand or by any other means at any person or at, in or into any building, vehicle, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground, lake, river, stream or other public place within the Village of Pewaukee.
Sec. 54.104. Sale and discharge of fireworks restricted.
Wis. Stats. § 167.10, regulating the sale and use of fireworks exclusive of any penalty imposed by such statute is adopted by reference and made a part of this section as though set forth in full.
Sec 54.105 Destruction of Property Prohibited
No person shall willfully injure or intentionally deface, destroy or unlawfully remove, take or meddle with any property of any kind or nature belonging to the Village of Pewaukee, State of Wisconsin or the federal government or its departments, or give to any private person, without the consent of the owner or proper authority.
Sec. 54.106. Obstructing streets and sidewalks prohibited.
No person shall stand, sit, loaf or loiter or engage in any sport or exercise on any public street, sidewalk, bridge or public ground within the Village of Pewaukee in such manner as to prevent or obstruct the free passage of pedestrian or vehicular traffic or to prevent or hinder free ingress or egress to or from any place of business or amusement, church, public hall or meeting place.
Sec. 54.107. Public intoxication.
No person shall within the Village of Pewaukee be intoxicated so as to disturb the good order and quiet of the village or be found in any place within the village in such a state of intoxication that he is unable to care for his own safety or for the safety of others.
Sec. 54.108. Drinking of alcohol beverages prohibited.
No person shall drink any alcohol beverages on any street or sidewalk within the Village of Pewaukee, except at such events and at such times and places as are approved by the village board.
Sec. 54.109. Loud and unnecessary noise prohibited.
No person shall make or cause to be made any loud, disturbing or unnecessary sounds or noises such as may tend to annoy or disturb another in or about any public street, alley or park or any private residence.
Sec. 54.110. Accelerating vehicles.
No driver of any motor vehicle shall cause by excessive and unnecessary acceleration the tires of such vehicle to spin and emit loud noises or throw stone or gravel, nor shall such driver cause to be made by excessive and unnecessary acceleration any loud noise such as would disturb the public peace
Sec. 54.111. False alarms prohibited.
No person shall give or send or cause to be given or sent in any manner any alarm of fire or other emergency that he knows to be false.
Sec. 54.112. Disorderly conduct.
Whoever, in a public or private place, engages in violent, abusive, indecent, profane, boisterous, unreasonably loud or otherwise disorderly conduct under circumstances in which the conduct tends to cause or provoke a disturbance is guilty of disorderly conduct. )
Sec. 54.113. Trespass to buildings.
No person shall intentionally enter in a building or dwelling, any enclosed railroad car, any enclosed portion of any ship or vessel, any locked enclosed cargo portion of a truck or trailer, or any room within any of the aforementioned, without the expressed or implied consent of the person lawfully in possession of the same. For the purpose of this section, entry into a place during the time when it is open to the general public is with consent.
